The café – restaurant on Eat Street with the name that is the address.
Situated at the lake end of Tutanekai Street we offer a full menu from 9.00 am to 9.30 pm Monday to Friday – 12.00 pm to 9.30 pm Saturday- 10.00 am to late Sunday. The selection starts with brunch (open to 5 pm) – lunch – and the dinner menu is available from 5 pm to close. Our dessert menu is available from open to close.
We offer an extensive range of Gluten Free (g) and Vegetarian (v) options on the menu.
Outside dinning is available during the summer both on the street and in our own exclusive courtyard. Our courtyard is bounded by a low wall, which allows diners to observe the passing parade without people wandering through their space. We also keep the Restaurant cosy and warm during the winter months (we dont like being cold either).
The cuisine offered is a fusion of New Zealand – Pacific rim flavours with a constantly changing list of specials according to the season.
There is no deep fry on the menu.
Being fully licensed there is a good range of beverages available at all times including New Zealand wines. (BYO, wine only, is an option.)
Stonegrill dining was added to our menu in June 2005 and offers a unique taste in dinning. With all meats trimmed of fat and presented on a very hot (400º C ) Stonegrill which cooks the meat at the table. Why don’t you join us for a Stonegrill Lunch or a beautiful Stonegrill Dinner
